About Me
The horridly long paragraph about me, the artist responsible for this horrid mess of a website. You didn’t know that I love Tanks and pigtails and orange and playing and dirt and cookies and chocolate ice cream and blankets (definitely blankets) and stories and games and goldfish and technology and fun clothes and baking and painting and sewing and drawing and learning and music and singing and playing my ukulele and fashion and animals and my family and yes… I love way too many things and am really just an overgrown child.
Tankitha Joy was born Tabitha Layton and almost recieved the middle name Joy. She grew up in the blazing sun of Arizona and loved it.
Tankitha attended Brigham Young University – Idaho where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. During her time there she mainly focused on general illustration skills and children’s books.
She currently works as a freelance illustrator and is working to get a children’s book published!
